Bio...
Janelle Hessig was born on a dark and stormy night
in Poonanny Farms, CA. It was Groundhog’s Day, 1975, but she did
not see her shadow on the way out.
She learned the secret of life early on: stink lines
+ flies = superior art. She applied this fantastic knowledge in the
creation of critically-acclaimed
fanzines such as Tales Of Blarg, Jank, and Desperate Times. Like the
footprint of the elusive yeti, you can find further evidence
of Janelle’s work
in Punk Planet, Maximum Rock N Roll, Absolutely Zippo, Manic D Press,
Lookout Records,
Bogus Dead, Flying Saucer Attack, On Our Butts, the 924 Gilman book,
and other such places.
Janelle currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area where she is pursuing
a degree in animation.
